Jonathan Cape, 1925. Hardcover. Good/Good. 1925. First Edition. 442 pages. Brown dust jacket over green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Binding remains firm. Crinkling to pages at gutters. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper & pastedown. Pages are moderately tanned throughout. Occasional foxing. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened slightly. Book has a slight forward lean. Boards are bowed. Clipped jacket has light edge wear with minor tears and chipping. Mild rubbing and marking. Tanning to spine and edges causing discolouration.
