[xviii] + 72 pp. Frontis + 14 plates (13 called for on list of illustrations) Abridgment of the Official History by Wood; brought up to date by G.K.Menzies and an appreciation by E.V.Lucas. First Printing thus 1935. Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition. VG/Good (Book - tanning to extremities and with some shelf wear to bottom edge of boards. No significant soiling. No previous owner name or insc. and binding sound. Dust Jacket - numerous nicks and some significant tears with a little loss principally to head and tail of spine and some mild general shelf soiling. Remains quite presentable on the shelf in a removable proprietary protective sleeve).
