Second edition. 143, (1) pp. Contemporary green quarter morocco over marbled boards, spine flat with gilt rules and worn lettering, contemporary ownership inscription to the verso of the frontispiece and initialled by the same hand on the title page. Frontispiece portrait engraved by Freeman after George Cruikshank. Occasional light foxing, ink stain to p. 118, extremities slightly rubbed. First published in London in 1822 by Mackay, with just a few editions appearing soon after. Uncommon.
