About This Item
New York and London: Harper & Brothers Publishers, 1923. Second Edition. Red Cloth. Very Good/Good Plus. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾. N/a. 74pp. 1923. Second edition. 12mo. A very good clean, tight copy in good plus jacket. Original publisher's red cloth - gilt embossed to the spine and to the front board with a paper colour onlay of the wise men of Christmas to the front board. A very neat blue ink Christmas gift inscription, Xmas 1925 'To Bella' to the front endpaper. Otherwise a near fine or fine copy. The jacket has not been price-clipped. It has a small chip to the middle of the rear panel - virtually no loss of text, some peripheral rubbing with several small or tiny chips to the peripheries and a little spotting (or small circular stains) and dust soiling. Several short tears to the margins of the jacket have been expertly repaired. A very good, clean, tight copy of a charming children's Christmas book.
