Hartford, CT: A. D. Worthington & Co.. Fine+ with no dust jacket. 1897. First Edition. Decorative Cloth. This is a salesman's sample book. I has samples of the three different bindings inside the covers, along with a representative sample of the pages of the book. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ENTIRE CONTENTS!! This was only intended to get folks to order a copy of the book. There is space in the back for customers to sign up for purchase, with space to indicate which binding they wished. The only defect is a rubbing through the cloth at the bottom center of the spine, about 1/4" high. This sample is in the red binding, with brigh gilt title.; Salesman's Dummy; 6x9 .
