NY: Oxford University Press. Very Good in Poor dust jacket; Corners bumped, jacket chipped, sunned, . silverfish-damaged and missing pieces.. 1933. Hardcover. Vellum-backed boards. Printed paper label on front boards and spine and a third label bound in at rear. Frontispiece illustration of De Bosis. Biographical note by Ruth Draper, with whom the author shared a relationship. Text in English, though De Bosis' text is reprinted in English, Italian, and French. Laid in the book is a mimeograph of a typed slip stating "Miss Draper had hoped to include this little brochure with Icaro, but owning to an unforseen delay in the printing, this was not possible. Miss Draper hopes that you will not trouble to make further acknowledgment of this book. OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS". De Bosis was a translator and poet who died when he was only thirty years old in 1931, killed when his plane crashed while he was dropping anti-Fascist leaflets over Italy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 32 pages .
