London: Smith, Elder & Co.,, 1905. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. Small 4to (15 x 23cm). "With 20 illustrations and a map and an introduction by The Hon. H. H. Risley" . Pp. xii, [4], 354 + 2 pages of adverts. b/w frontispiece plate with tissue guard, other b/w plates. Original green cloth binding with gilt lettering, very good with a little general wear and slight rubbing to extremities. Top edge cut other edges uncut. Contents clean and tight, small inscription to front end paper and slight impressions from previous pencil inscriptions, now rubbed out, slight foxing more or less confined to title page and page edges. A very good tight first edition copy..
