Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is not creased or split; text is secure in binding. 168 pp 8vo. This is a reprint of the 1921 original by Brigham. She came to Council Grove in 1871 at age 4 and spent the rest of her life in and around the Council Grove area. The book is based on previously written histories and interviews with pioneers and early settlers to the area. The book covers historical and local events up to the early 1900s. A clean very presentable copy.
