About This Item
Ward, Lock and Co., London, 1896. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket. 343 pages (complete). A genial novel from one of Australia's most fondly remembered authors. The cover is benign and worn, marked, scuffed all about. The gilt decoration and titling is worn but vivid. Inside, the contents are worn. The end paper is absent. The early pages are foxed. There is evidence of wear and usage throughout but the pages are clear, comfortable, mildly marked, companionable and diligently entertaining. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
