About This Item
A book of poetry, plus one short story by Canadian writer Michael Desjardins. The work is divided into three sections. Part I is entitled Poems for Pedestrians, part II is the same set of poems, translated into French. Part III is a short story entitled Shadow in a Sunrise.
Published in 1966, the poetry is emblematic of the general questioning of the human condition characteristic of the 1960s. The overall sense is one of poetic existentialism.
This edition may be described as being in Very Good condition, with bright pages and text. There is some slight foxing to the tops of the pages, and slight staining to the bottom page edges. The dust jacket is present, but in Poor condition with a significant tear at the top of the spine, a tear to the bottom of the front and general staining over all.
