About This Item

New York: The Macmillan Company, 1914. Yeats wrote "Red Hanrahan" in 1896, publishing with Dun Emer in 1905. This is a Very Good copy of the First American Edition, "New and Revised," with additions and changes. Not common; most copies seen are from the issue of 1927. Light green paper binding with paper labels on the spine and front cover; labels are ruled in red, with lettering in green. Clean text, very bright; 231 pages, with seven pages of adverts in the rear. Mild bumping, spine a bit darkened, spine labels rubbed but readable. Small spot on the front cover, and what looks to be a splash of ink across the rear. Still, a presentable copy; in an archival plastic protector. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
