Printed exclusively for members of the Bibliophile Society, Boston, 1921. Limited edition of 450 copies.. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo, hardcover, no dj. Vg condition. Bound in quarter vellum paper at spine over brown cloth-covered boards, gilt spine lettering; housed in publisher's double slipcase. Very occasional, faint interior foxing; Contents otherwise clean, no markings or "thumbing" to pages, bindings & hinges tight. Boards quite clean; spine vellum slightly browned; gilt spine lettering sharp & bright. Outer slipcase shows patches of darkening, paper spine label browned -- otherwise both inner & outer slipcases remain sturdy, square and strong, no splitting at seams. 63 pp. of text + tissue-protected facsimile plates. Facsimiles of more or less fragmentary material never before printed, or pages from Stevenson's note-book containing initial drafts of pieces afterward published, many in the "Child's garden of verses."
