About This Item
Great Barrington, MA : Penmaen Press, 1983. One sheet, folded to make four pages, with block print of Walt Whitman gracing the front. Fine. SIGNED by Heyen. The engraving was printed directly from the block and was cut in 1969 by Michael McCurdy and was inspired by Whitmans poem, Song of the Open Road. 100 copies were privately printed at Penmaen Press, Great Barrington, MA for William and Mary Ewert to honor Heyens third visit to New Hampshire in April, 1983.
