Inscribed and signed by the author "To Lorna Marshall / from Kay Billings" on the title page. From the personal collection of Lorna Marshall (1898-2002], a well known anthropologist that lived among the !Kung people of the Kalahari Desert, and author of several books based on her studies there. The dust jacket shows a crease on the front flap, light damp marking on the upper edge on the back, and is NOT price-clipped.
