Mint condition, possibly has never been read. No marks or entries, pages are untoned. The binding is new-condition (photo) tight, book lies flat, plumb, and square. Gold satin page marker, (photo) unusual feature found is books from small publisher such as Phanes Press.
Phanes Press was founded in 1985 as an independent book publisher but is no longer in existence. The company acquired by Red Wheel Conari in 2004.
Relevant inked illustrations with each chapter subject. Several appendices as well as a subject and author index (photo). Comprehensive and scholarly effort by Doctor of Classical Studies from University of Southern California. Dr. Condos published several books on mythology and taught at several California universities and colleges until her death in May, 2012.

We are a retail outlet for the Friends of the Davis Public Library, licensed by the State of California as a non-profit entity. We are also a member of the Independent Online Booksellers Association (IOBA) and comply with its standards of ethics and requirements. Logos book inventory comes mostly from donations by our literate and university associated community and often include large donations from public and private libraries.
