Pages clean and unmarked, lightly toned. Jacket of grey and red has edgewear at corners and spine ends, rubbed along fold edges. The first of three volumes on the history of the Jews during the dispersal, this volume coves the period from the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans in the year 70 to Hadrian's suppression of Simeon's insurrection in 135. 224 pages with index. 9 x 5.5 inches.
