New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1958 First printing of the stated first edition, yellow cloth boards with red-lettered spine, 192pp. Spine ends pushed, light bruise to bottom front corner, tiny crimp to bottom back corner, and light wear to board edge, else book in fine condition; dust jacket with mild wear to spine ends, light wear to corners, shallow crease to bottom front corner, and light toning to spine, else fine.
Andre Norton was the first woman to be named the Gandalf Grand Master of Fantasy and the SFWA Grand Master.
