About This Item

Chicago: Blackhawks Publishing, 2015. Hardcover. 4to. Glossy pictorial paper over boards. 240pp. Extensive color illustrations, pictorial endpapers. Fine. Pristinely tight and handsome first edition of this lavish production celebrating the Chicago Blackhawks' Stanley Cup victory, with all inserts (ticket, DVD, sweepstakes ticket, centerfold poster, frig magnet, cloth pennant, postcard-size photos) present and immaculate. Best of all, this mint copy bears two choice autograph additions: Tipped to the blank front inner flyleaf are two fine 3¼" X 5½" printed black-and-white picture postcards (never addressed) of Blackhawks legends -- at top is a full-length portrait in uniform of DENNIS HULL (born 1944), boldly signed near the bottom in blue ballpoint; and below this is a similar portrait of STAN MIKITA (1940-2018), boldly inscribed and signed by him ("To Richard / Best Wishes / Stan Mikita") near the bottom in blue ballpoint. A superb pair that makes this a most unusual copy.
