Diary of Erich Weinert, president of the Free Germany National Committee in Moscow. Weinert (1890-1953) was a German Communist poet who spent the war in the Soviet Union and kept a diary during the battle of Stalingrad. The present volume is a translation of an article that first appeared in German in "Internationale Literatur," a magazine published in Moscow. Illustrations on the cover and title page by John Heartfield. Foreword by Major J. Dugdale, M.P.

CONDITION: Soiling and mild foxing to wrappers along with a few nicks to the edges. Internally clean and umarked. A Very Good copy.
