Bookplate of Geoffrey Godden's shop attached to free front endpaper and signed by him. Size is 12" x 10". X1V/593pp with Preface, Introduction Chronology, 23 Chapters, 6 Appendices. Plus vast collection of Photos colour and B/W. Hardcover book is all VG, but wrapper has chips at one return flap corner and at top of spine; also 3 inch closed tear at top of spine. However, wrapper is 99% complete. A very heavy item that may require extra postage. . Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 1983.
