About This Item

KNOPF New York, 1971 A prodigal talent, a wonderful storyteller, tough, amusing, and always utterly pleasurable. So why is this guy not better known? This copy of one of his Booker shortlisted novels is as good as any, so buy this and give yourself a treat. Clean and tight, first impression, first hardback. Near Fine rather than very good, but there is a slight lean to the binding and the jacket has a tiny damaged top to the spine. Nothing serious though. The binding is not faded, and all the corners are still nice and firm. 0.0 0.0 0.0. 1st Edition.. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good.
