Heavy wear to corners and board edges, grinding down and exposing cardboard at corners; heavy scuffing/small tears to edges of spine; rubbing/wear to covers; soiling/staining to covers; slanting to spine; scuffing/nicking/chipping to head/foot of spine; creasing to spine leather; rubbing/fading to spine gilt; front hinge cracked at start of text, separating and causing front cover to be loose but connected by spine leather; back hinge cracked; heavy cracking to binding in multiple places in textblock, making pages very loose; first 2 pages of text missing; pages 347-358 almost separated from book, held by a couple of strings; pages browned; soiling to page edges; foxing to page edges; dust staining to top edge of pages.
