Six issues of the newsletter, each comprised of 8.5x11 inch mimeographed sheets stapled together at upper left corner; minor toning, occasional penciled notes on covers ("Red front," dates received, "Claims it is socialist and not a Communist front"), mailing address on rear covers, otherwise very good. Issues present are Jan. 1, [August], [October], and Nov. 13, 1964, an undated issue from 1965, and an issue from September 1967 with the documents of the third national convention. One of the several newsletters published by the CP-affiliated DuBois Clubs in this period. Includes coverage of Berkeley's Free Speech Movement, early efforts to protest the Vietnam War, lamentation over the death of Civil Rights workers, news from local chapters, and much more.
