About This Item
Michael Joseph, 1957. 1st edition. Hardcover. Nice blue boards with gilt spine lettering, clean pages and endpapers, in a dustjacket which is not price-clipped but has some loss at the top front corners, some chipping at the spine ends, some browning to the rear panel and flap edges, and some small holes in the rear flap fold. Dick Francis's autobiography was published the year after his famous Grand National ride on Devon Loch, and some years before his first racing thriller.
