About This Item
From front DJ flap: "It has long been Sloane's opinion that the American of today is not just the early American grown older, but a different person entirely. The Spirits of '76 deals with this belief, and Sloane lists ten of the original spirits of early America, comparing them with the changed spirits of today."
Book - Very Good- condition. White paper over boards with light blue text on spine. Edges have very little wear, but there is light discoloration at both top and bottom, possibly from the glue used. There is also light discoloration on the red end pages at the spine. The front end page also has previous owner's name etc. in ink. Pages are clean and binding is tight. Illustrated.
Dust Jacket - Fair condition. Images are bright but have some rubbing. Edges have chipping, tearing and creasing.
