A very good hardback copy in like dust jacket housed in complete but worn illustrated box with separation to corners of the lid.. Blue cloth boards with gold embosted illustration. The cover is very bright but has some flecking. There is a small damp stain to the lower edge of the end paper. Mild general foxing throughout the pages and to two fore edges of book. With mild offsetting to endpapers. Stylish gift inscription to front endpaper.. Colour frontispiece, 11 other colour and black and white plates.
