NY: Pierpont Morgan Library, 1966. One of 1500 copies. Small 4to, pp. 66, plus reproductions of books and ephemera. Presentation on flyleaf "for Joe Whitehead | from Joe Spiral | February 1966 -- " Illustrated. Paper wraps. Fine. Colophon reads: "The edition of this book consists of 400 copies bound in cloth and 1500 copies paperbound. It has been designed by Joseph Blumenthal who gratefully acknowledges his indebtedness to Joan Van Haasteren and Ronald Gordon for assistance in the preparation of text and catalogue. Production has been supervised by Frank J. Petrocelli; monotype setting by A. Colish, Inc.; composition and make-up in the Baskerville and Bulmer types by William Stanton, James O'Hagen and Norman Richardson; presswork by John Luciani and Harry Bettum; cutting by Ray Smith. The paper is "Curtis Rag." The 16 pages of illlustrated books and ephemera were printed at Crafton Graphic Co. by offset lithography. Bound by the Russell-Rutten Company, New York, in January of 1966.
