Scottsdale, AZ: Poisoned Pen Press, 2003. Stated First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/near fine. Arsenault's debut novel, SPIKED, was a finalist for the Shamus Award for Best First Mystery. The story was drawn from his experience as a journalist writing about heroin addicts who lived desperate lives of crime, love and addiction beneath a railroad bridge in Lowell. Book is fne with little edge wear. Inscribed and signed by the author on the title page as follows -- "to Diane, Best Wishes". The dust jacket is near fine, bumped on the lower spine and with two impressions on the spine.
