D. Appleton & Co. 1878. Hardcover. One-quarter leather, brown cloth boards, gilt title on the spine. Book has two parts: General French and English Dictionary, 666 pages. English and French Pronouncing Dictionary 650 pages. Former owner's name on endpaper dated January 8th, 1879. Dictionary followed by a Complete Vocabulary of the Names of Places and Person, Mythological and Classical, Ancient and Modern. Outer boards rubbed, hinge cracked, clean text, endpapers dark brown spots, tear on the back board's cloth .
