London: Longman, Hurst, Rees, and Orme, 1805. Hardcover. First Edition, First Impression. 4.25 x 7in. vii. 387pp.; 404pp.; 419pp. Bound by Charles E. Lauriat in three quarters polished calf over marbled boards of the period. Spines with 5 raised bands and 6 compartments with gilt ruling. Morocco title labels in gilt. Marbled endpapers. Text-block edges are gilt. All 3 volumes are in VERY GOOD condition showing the spines lightly toned and rubbed with some hints of "lift," hinges with slight loss from use, marginal shelf rubbing of the extremities, otherwise the bindings are strong and tight, the text-blocks are clean and exceptionally unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. As pictured.
