London: Sampson Low, Marston & Company Limited. Good. 1895. New Edition. Hardcover. 166 p. 18.5 cm. Bound in blue cloth over boards with gilt stamped titles. Somewhat fragile. The boards, corners and edges have rub wear and corner tips are worn through. Front hinge is cracked and upper board is a little loose. Text block gatherings are sprung and loose in a few places. Front free endpaper is missing. Inside, the endpapers and preliminary pages have light foxing. Otherwise the pages are clean and unmarked. A handbook intended for professionals and tradesmen in the building industry in late 19th century England. Publication date is an estimate based on the inclusion of 1895 Revised Conditions of Contract. .
