Quarto; in quarter morocco over colorful paper covered boards; 105 pages, with 31 tipped in pattern paper samples (each sample being one twelfth of a whole sheet, the samples designed by Edward Bawden; Claud Lovat Fraser; Elizabeth Friedlander; Emil Otto Hoppe; Thomas Lowinsky; Enid Marx; Paul Nash; Sarah Nechamkin; Eric Ravilious; Michael Rothenstein; Albert Rutherston; Graham Sutherland; and with [8] photographic plated; with a separate portfolio containing five full sheets of pattern paper designed by Enid Marx, Edward Bawden; Thomas Lowinsky, and two sheets by Elizabeth Friedlander; trace of fade to the morocco spine, and a trace of discoloration to the spine of the portfolio.~~Limited ed. of 335 numbered copies. 250 copies are quarter-bound buckram and Curwen pattern paper, and 85 copies quarter bound in leather with 5 additional full sheets of pattern paper. ~~This is copy number IV of 85.
