Philadelphia: F.E. Boericke, 1878. Hardcover. Very good. pp. xxiv, 644. Quarter leather and pebbled cloth, stamped in gilt on the front board "First Clinical Prize, Pulte Medical College, 1879." The same words are handwritten on the front free endpaper, along with "Awarded to Dr. F.E. Downey/ Wm. Owens MD/ T.P. Wilson MD, Clinical Committee." Raue was Professor of Special Pathology and Diagnostics at the Hahnemann Medical College of Philadelphia. Pulte Medical College was a homeopathic medical school founded in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1873. In 1910 it merged with Cleveland Homeopathic Medical College. Very good copy, with some rubbing to the boards; front hinge cracked but still very sound.
