About This Item
UK: Harper Collins, 1996. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. On the frontier between the remnants of the civilization Europe imposed on South America and the roaring, seething Amazon jungle, the tribes of the Jivaro people lead lives of stubborn independence. Among their number, farthest removed from the clutches of modernity, are the Achuar, the notorious headhunters of the forest. This is their domain. There is a bump to one corner of the green board and the text block is tanned and marked. Otherwise a good tight copy.
