Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition/Early if not First Printing.Book is maroon cloth with gilt letters and decoration on the spine...which appears new though slight tips pushed at bottom. No wear to extremities, covers clean and bright and no internal markings. Tiny tear and fold at bottom o page 197. Vibrant, colorful dust jacket somewhat chipped, torn and creased at most edges especially spine top and bottom and tips. There is some shelfwear. Original price present (15 shillings) Author inscription reads, "Please return to .....signed by author with a partial address." "The book is written in the form of two personal diaries [and is] a delightfully intimate and entertaining volume for the armchair traveller." Looks great in shiny new mylar cover..
