Leo Minster, MA, 1904. Pamphlet with silk tie. Very good.. 6 x 9 3/4 inches (15 x 25 cm), manilla wraps with silk ribbon tie, some discoloration around edges. Program of the convention held October 25-28, 1904. List officers and chairwomen, superintendents, and vice presidents, with some photographs. Many pages have advertisements by local businesses, and songs on the page. Inside cover has written in ink, "This book belonged to Almira Coffin Rowe, BL Rowe." Laid in are two double-sideded sheets with a handwritten summary of the convention written by Almira Coffin Rowe. It appears that a page is missing. Unpaginated, 24 pp. Very good condition. Anna Howard Shaw was one of the speakers.

Seattle: [The Seattle Theatre], 1928. 32x24cm, [12]pp. Illustrations, photographs. String bound in illustrated beige paper wrappers with yapped edges. Some edge wear and soiling to wrappers. Clean internally and very good. Souvenir program from the grand opening of the historic Paramount Theatre, which in its first years of operation, was called the Seattle Theatre. The program included works performed by the Seattle Grand Concert Orchestra, a technicolor production with orchestral accompaniment, a stage production, and closed with Bebe Daniels in "Feel My Pulse." The theatre was funded by Paramount Pictures and was designed by Chicago architects, Rapp & Rapp, with the adjoining buildings being designed by Seattle architect, B. Marcus Priteca. A scarce and important piece of Seattle theater history. OCLC locates copies only at the Seattle Public Library and University of Washington. .

(Paris), 1946. Very Good. No. 122 of 250 on velin du Marais Crevecoeur, stiff paper chemise measuring 11 x 7.5 inches, housing loose sheets of the program and several hand-colored pictures, this copy inscribed to Alvin Laidley (a UNESCO administrator) by Guy Arnoux, the illustrator with a pencil sketch of a Legionnaire and including 12 colored pictures by Arnoux, Herve Baille, Berard, Paul Colin and others, with "enliminures" by Marlene Arzouman. The dinner, at the Boef sur le Toit (a Paris cabaret and nightclub), was organized by friends of the Legion Etrangere as a fundraiser for a "maison des invalides de la Legion." Koenig, the guest of honor, was a major French general during the war. It was he who was sent to arrest Marshall Petain and he was in charge of the French occupied zones of Germany in the post-war. Very good with light wear and soil, and very rare, no copies cited by OCLC or BNF.
