First edition, with the number one in parentheses (1) on the last page of the text. 269 pages. Frontispiece and three internal illustrations on plain paper by Neil O'Keeffe. Volume six in the Hillsfield Series. The cloth shows light soil and mild edgewear, with just a hint of fraying at the head of the spine. A touch of soil to the fore-edge. Former owner's name in pen to the front pastedown, otherwise unmarked. A clean, tight copy. Mattson & Davis 31400. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
