Longmans, Green and Co, 1947. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1947. Reprinted. 308 pages. Blue, Black and white photographic dust jacket over blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Black and white photographic plates throughout. Remnants of prize plate stuck to front endpaper. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild crinkling, mild tanning and light thumb marking. Boards have mild edge wear with light rubbing and crushing. Some light marking and tanning. There is bumping to corners. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge wear with some areas of loss to spine head, heavy chips, tears and creasing. Tanning to spine and edges.
