Gilt a little faded and some light marking to boards, small bookplate to front free endpaper. A very well preserved copy. Temple Sheen Press edition, hand-set and published by Arthur K. Sabin, founder of the Press. One of 150 copies. NUMEROUS HOLOGRAPH CORRECTIONS IN SABIN'S HAND THROUGHOUT TEXT. Introductory note by Walter Runciman [1870-1949], Liberal MP and descendant of the poet. (As head of the 1938 diplomatic mission to Czechoslovakia, and author of the Runciman Report, Walter Runciman was a central figure in the appeasement of Nazi Germany before the Second World War.)
