Publisher's dark green cloth with spine and upper board lettering and farmer vignette, 12mo, pp. 195, [1]. Illustrated throughout by Will Vawter. (Note: We have had in the past a copy of this book with a tissue-guard on the frontispiece. This copy does not have a tissue-guard.) Spine ends and board tips rubbed and bumped. A few spots of discoloration on upper board. Lower edges of boards shelf rubbed. Internally clean. First printing, with imprint of Charles Francis Press on copyright page, as called for in BAL 16671.
