About This Item
New York: Cassell & Company Limited, 1889. Hardcover. First Edition. Oblong folio. Unpaginated. Complete. Bound in the original publisher quarter cloth over pictorial paper covered boards. VERY GOOD. Shows shelf rubbing along the edges and corners with some marginal chipping and fraying, a small split at the front hinge but holding strong, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text and illustrations are clean and unmarked having been exceptionally well maintained, and the boards remain bright and distinct. As pictured.
