Dufek, commander of the U.S. Naval Support Force in Antarctica from 1955 - 59 and autographed by Dufek on the dedication page along with his small doodle of a penguin. Oblong, approx. 11 by 8 inches. The author's experiences and poetry during his stay in Antarctica.
