Limited edition of 75 copies printed on Imperial Japanese Vellum; this is copy #1; 35 illustrations plus several tipped-in copies of correspondence ; Leslie was a Chicago actress, opera singer, and drama critic; "Some Players" consists of her personal history and sketches of those famous players of the time - Edwin Booth, Sarah Bernhardt, Lillian Russell, and many, many more; 624 pp; internally fine, overall a VG- copy with heavily bumped corners, a split in the exterior spine cloth, heavy edge wear, and some soiling to page ends; uncut signatures.
