New York: Random House, 1964. With this collected edition of the Snopes saga Random House corrected and collated Faulkner's typescript with previous printings from 1940 and 1956. Three volumes in dark gray bindings, titling on the spine and front cover in red and gilt; front cover has the author's signature in gilt. Clean texts, very bright and clear. "The Hamlet" (stated First Printing) is 366 pages; "The Town" (stated Fourth Printing) is 371 pages; and "The Mansion" (stated Third Printing) is 236 pages. Books are fresh and unbumped. Volume One has lightly faded on the spine and the gilt is a bit dull. Otherwise, a Fine set. The slipcase is present and is basically sound, but has suffered quite a bit of edgewear, and some bumping. . Third Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
