Baton Rouge LA: Louisiana State University Press, 2002. First Edition. . Hardcover. Fine/Fine. F/F/1st ed. Special Preservation Edition. This printing of 2500 copies was printed for members of the Civil War Preservation Trust in an effort to raise money to preserve School House Ridge at Harpers Ferry, West Virginia in 2002. Luckily, the site that overlooked the Battle of Harpers Ferry was included in the Harpers Ferry National Park in 2004. This copy is number1572 of 2500 and was signed by the author on a Civil War Preservation Trust book plate on the front free endpaper. The book is clean and without any markings or soiling, binding is tight. Dust jacket has no tears or nicks and is not price clipped. The jacket has been covered with a mylar sleeve. 274 pp. with an index. Notes and illustration throughout. Robert Krick covers different aspects of the Army of Northern Virginia not previously examined.
