Large-format volume, measuring approximately , is bound in brownish yellow cloth, with stamped lettering to spine. Book shows light shelfwear, with mildly bumped lower outside corner of front cover. Binding is sound. Letters of Russian alphabet appear in order on fore edge of text block indicating location in text. Very light foxing appears in outside corners of pastedowns, with previous owner's name at top of front pastedown. Lightly age-toned pages are clean and without markings. Entries are in double columns.This dictionary of the Russian language is a classic work of lexicography by linguist and academic S. I. Ozhegov (1900-1964). 848 pages.
