About This Item

First Edition/First Printing of a reported 3004 copies printed; A Near Fine book in a Very Good dust jacket. A handsome copy of this key Arkham House title; a collection of short stories by the creator of Conan, Solomon Kane, and others, most of these stories originally appearing in "Weird Tales". Illustrated by Hannes Bok. This copy is in near fine condition with a square, tight binding, bright gold lettering and design over black boards, and clean pages throughout; housed in a clean and bright original, intact dust jacket that shows moderate rubbing and chipping to the spine ends, edges, and corners with minimal loss of material, some minor browning to the spine, back panel, and flap edges, a few small closed tears to the folds and flap edges, and a couple of innocuous tape repairs to the verso. Overall, a presentable and attractive copy of a title difficult to find in collectible condition; Not remaindered, not price clipped ($5.00 intact), not ex-library; in a protective Mylar cover and will ship in a sturdy box.
