G S Tregear, 1835. Book. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. hardback, black half leather binding, marbled paper covered boards, bands to spine ruled with a decorative design, gilt title on burgundy morocco label, extremities rubbed, mild forward lean to the volume, upper hinge cracked but binding tight, originally produced in five parts the 180 numbered cartoon sketches printed on pink, blue yellow, white paper, some foxing to a few margins, plate No 16 in volume one torn to lower right with small loss, plate No 20 of same creased and rubbed to fore-edge and lightly soiled, whilst there is scattered light soiling this is still an unusually well preserved set of the cartoons, pages not numbered.
