Well-kept copy of this thick reference containing seldom-seen drawings by noted artists from the Middle Ages to the late twentieth century. Fully illustrated throughout with bibliography and detailed index. Tan cloth, 480 pages, printed dustjacket. The book is in near fine condition with some very light edge rubbing and a subtle smudge to the top edge, good hinges, sound text block, very clean pages free from names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket has some edge rubbing and a slightly darkened spine, a couple of very tiny edge tears, two very tiny holes at the front joint, almost no paper loss.. First Edition, First Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
