Essex County Historical Association and University of Windsor Pres. Very Good+ in Very Good dust jacket. 1980. Reprint. Stapled wraps. 45 p. 21.5 cm. Sound binding in centre-stapled cardstock covers. There are pull marks on the inside of both covers, where the dustjacket was previously taped down. Otherwise, it has virtually no discernible wear. The thin paper dustjacket has some darkening and fairly light foxing. There are sticky remains on the flaps of the tape that held the jacket to the covers. Title on the dust jacket reads "The Irish Laird of Pelee Island, A Sketch of ..." (see cover title above) . The booklet was published in 1980 as a reprint of the original sketch of the Pelee Island area written by William McCormick in the early 19th century. It includes a biographical introduction to McCormick and his life, by R. Alan Douglas. Essex County Historical Association Occasional Paper No. 1. .
